Past SMI Annual Conferences

In 1987 the Irish Chapter of the Royal Musical Association began organising annual conferences in association with different music departments. The expansion in the size and scope of such annual gatherings since the inauguration of the SMI in 2003 has reflected the steady growth of musicology in Ireland. The SMI website preserves a record of those conferences.
