The 13th annual plenary conference of the Society for Musicology in Ireland was hosted by the Department of Music, University College Cork on 12–14 June 2015.
Professor Nicholas Cook (University of Cambridge) delivered the keynote lecture: The Imaginary African: Music, Identity, and Race.
