The 24th annual plenary conference of the Society for Musicology in Ireland will take place in Belfast on 29 August - 1 September 2026. It is a special joint conference for the Royal Musical Association and the European Association for Dance History as well as the SMI, and will be hosted by SARC, the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Sound and Music, at Queen's University.
